Study of Reduced Severity of Health Conditions in Autistic Affected by Herpes Viruses 1, 2, and 6

Abstract: Despite the same name, the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) has two types of viruses that spread in different ways, type 1 herpes simplex virus/HSV-1 and type 2 herpes simplex virus/HSV-2, with around 417 million people having the virus present in their blood. Herpes simplex is the most common viral disease in modern man, excluding respiratory infections. In immunocompromised patients, herpes infections can cause several complications. Herpes simplex is also classified as a sexually transmitted disease, affecting only men and without seasonal variations. Overall, primary HSV-6 infection is among the most prevalent causes of acute febrile illness in young children. It is also a significant cause of emergency room visits and hospitalizations. The manuscript aims to verify the reduction in the severity of health conditions in autistic individuals affected by herpes viruses 1, 2, and 6. The methodology used an integrative literature review and a synthesis process to develop the study to expand the understanding of knowledge and achieve the expected results.
